  • Pneumatic valve operation method
Pneumatic valves are valves driven by compressed air. According to the control method, pneumatic valves can be divided into two categories: switch type and regulating type. Pneumatic switch type valves include pneumatic actuators, valves, manual operating mechanisms, air source treatment triplets, solenoid valves, limit switches, silencers, quick connectors, air compressors, air pipes and other components. The manual operating mechanism, limit switches, air source treatment triplets, silencers, and quick connectors can be freely selected according to on-site working conditions. Pneumatic regulating valves include pneumatic actuators, valves, manual operating mechanisms, electro-pneumatic valve positioners, gas source treatment triplets, mufflers, quick connectors, air compressor air pipes, etc. The manual operating mechanisms, mufflers, and quick connectors can also be freely selected according to the on-site working conditions. Taichen brand pneumatic valves are widely used in the automation control of various media such as water, air, steam, mud, oil products, liquid metals, etc. Precautions for pneumatic valve operation: 1. When opening a valve, precautions must be taken: 1. Check if the oil pot on the air filter pressure reducer has been filled with lubricating oil; 2. Check if the pipeline is clean; If there are any debris, it is recommended to install a pipeline filter in front of the valve; 3. Then connect to control the origin; 4. Then adjust the air source pressure; Pistons (0.4-0.7) kilograms, thin films (0.1-0.2) kilograms; 5. Turn on the power supply (switch type is voltage) or (regulating type current or voltage signal); 6. Then adjust or control the opening; 2. When closing the valve, precautions must be taken: 1. Cut off control signals (voltage or current); 2. Set the air filtration pressure to zero; Pneumatic valve operation method: 1. The opening and closing of pneumatic valves are operated in a clockwise direction. 2. The pneumatic valves in the pipeline network should not have too many opening and closing rotations by the staff. Even large diameter valves should be within 200-600 rotations. 3. In order to facilitate the operation of pneumatic valves by staff, the opening and closing torque should be less than 240N-m under pipeline pressure conditions. 4. The opening and closing operation end of pneumatic valves should be square tenon, with standardized dimensions and facing the ground, so that workers can operate directly on the ground. Valves with wheels are not suitable for use in underground pipelines. 5. To ensure that there is no excessive opening and closing, the scale lines for the degree of opening and closing of pneumatic valves should be prominently cast on the gearbox cover or the outer shell of the display panel after changing direction, all facing the ground. When the opening and closing adjustment is accurate, it should be locked with rivets. 6. The opening and closing operation of pneumatic valves in the pipeline network is not suitable for downhole operations. If the operating mechanism and display panel of the pneumatic valve are less than 1.5 meters from the ground, a stable and reliable extension rod facility should be installed to facilitate observation and operation by personnel on the ground. diye valve &fitting co.,ltd.office@allvalve.cn

  • Introduction to the Process of Valve Hot Casting
With the advancement of technology and the flourishing development of the casting industry, different casting methods have different mold preparation contents. Taking the most widely used sand casting as an example, mold preparation includes two major tasks: material preparation and core making. The various raw materials used for molding and core making in sand casting, such as casting sand, sand binders, and other auxiliary materials, as well as the sand, core sand, coatings, etc. prepared from them, are collectively referred to as molding materials. The task of preparing molding materials is to select appropriate raw sand, binders, and auxiliary materials according to the requirements of the casting and the properties of the metal, and then mix them in a certain proportion to form molding sand and core sand with certain properties. The commonly used sand mixing equipment includes roller type sand mixer, counter flow sand mixer, and blade groove type sand mixer. The latter is designed specifically for mixed chemical self hardening sand, with continuous mixing and fast speed. Core shaping is carried out based on the requirements of casting technology, after determining the shaping method and preparing the shaping materials. The accuracy of castings and the economic benefits of the entire production process mainly depend on this process. In many modern casting workshops, molding and core making have been mechanized or automated. The commonly used sand molding and core making equipment includes high, medium, and low pressure molding machines, sand throwing machines, box less injection molding machines, core shooting machines, cold and hot core box machines, etc. After the castings are taken out of the self poured and cooled mold, there are gates, risers, metal burrs, burrs, and mold lines. The castings cast by sand molds also adhere to sand, so they must go through a cleaning process. The equipment used for this work includes polishing machines, shot blasting machines, sprue and riser cutting machines, etc. Sand cleaning of sand castings is a process with poor working conditions, so when choosing a molding method, it is important to consider creating convenient conditions for sand cleaning. Some castings require post-treatment due to special requirements, such as heat treatment, shaping, rust prevention treatment, rough machining, etc. Characteristics of the Foundry Industry Casting is a relatively economical method of rough forming, which can better demonstrate its economy for parts with complex shapes. Such as the cylinder block and cylinder head of car engines, ship propellers, and exquisite artworks. Some difficult to cut parts, such as nickel based alloy parts of gas turbines, cannot be formed without casting methods. In addition, the size and weight of the cast parts have a wide range of adaptability, and the types of metals are almost unrestricted; Parts not only have general mechanical properties, but also comprehensive properties such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and shock absorption, which cannot be achieved by other metal forming methods such as forging, rolling, welding, and punching. Therefore, in the machine manufacturing industry, the number and tonnage of raw parts produced by casting methods are still the largest to date. The materials commonly used in casting production include various metals, coke, wood, plastics, gas and liquid fuels, molding materials, etc. The required equipment includes various furnaces for smelting metals, various sand mixers for sand mixing, various molding and core making machines for shaping and core making, as well as sand blowers and shot blasting machines for cleaning castings. There are also machines and equipment for special casting, as well as many transportation and material handling equipment. Casting production has different characteristics from other processes, mainly including wide adaptability, requiring a large number of materials and equipment, and polluting the environment. Casting production produces dust, harmful gases, and noise that pollute the environment,

  • Operating torque of various valves
If the valve actuator is too small, the side cannot generate enough torque to fully operate the valve. Generally speaking, we believe that the required valve operating torque comes from the friction between the metal components of the valve (such as the ball core, valve disc) and the sealing components (valve seat). Many factors, such as valve usage, operating temperature, operating frequency, pipeline and pressure difference, and flow media (lubrication, drying, mud), all affect the valve operating torque. Ball valve operating torque The structural principle of a ball valve is basically based on a polished ball core (including a channel) sandwiched between two valve seats (upstream and downstream). The rotation of the valve core intercepts or flows through the ball core, and the force generated by the pressure difference between the upstream and downstream makes the ball core tightly against the downstream valve seat (floating ball valve structure). The torque required to operate the valve in this situation is determined by the friction between the ball core and valve seat, as well as between the valve stem and packing. The maximum torque occurs when a pressure difference occurs and the ball core rotates in the open direction from the closed position. Butterfly valve operating torque The structural principle of a butterfly valve is basically based on the butterfly plate fixed on the axis. In the closed position, the butterfly plate is completely sealed with the valve seat. When the butterfly plate rotates (around the valve stem) parallel to the flow of fluid, the valve is in the fully open position. On the contrary, when the butterfly plate is perpendicular to the flow of fluid, the valve is in the closed position. The torque for operating a butterfly valve is determined by the friction between the butterfly plate and the valve seat, as well as between the valve stem and the packing. At the same time, the force exerted by the pressure difference on the butterfly plate also affects the operating torque. The valve has the maximum torque when closed, and after a slight rotation, the torque will significantly decrease. Operating torque of plug valve The structural principle of the plug valve is based on the plug sealed in the conical plug body. There is a channel in one direction of the plug of the plug valve. As the plug is screwed into the valve seat, the valve opens and closes. The operating torque is usually not affected by the pressure of the fluid, but is determined by the friction between the valve seat and the plug during the opening and closing process. The plug valve has the maximum torque when closed. Due to the influence of pressure, a high torque is maintained throughout the remaining Diye valve &fitting co.,ltd. office@allvalve.cn

Among them, 16Mn and 30Mn have working temperatures between -40~+450 ℃ and are commonly used to replace ASTM A105. 5. Low temperature carbon steel Low temperature carbon steel (LCB), suitable for low-temperature valves with operating temperatures between -46~+345 ℃. 6. Alloy steel alloy steel valves (WC6, WC9), suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure valves in non corrosive media with operating temperatures between -29~+595 ℃; WC5 and WC12 are suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure valves in corrosive media with operating temperatures between -29~+650 ℃. 7. Austenitic stainless steel, suitable for valves in corrosive media with operating temperatures between -196~+600 ℃. 8. Monel alloy Monel alloy valves are mainly suitable for valves containing hydrogen and fluorine media. 9. Cast copper alloy Cast copper alloy is mainly suitable for valves used in oxygen pipelines with working temperatures between -273~+200 ℃. The above lists the major categories of commonly used materials for valve bodies. Each specific type of material has many different grades, which are suitable for various pressure levels. Therefore, when selecting the valve body material for a valve, it is necessary to determine the valve body material that is suitable for the working conditions based on different purposes and pressure levels. In addition, valve body materials include Hastelloy alloy, titanium alloy (titanium valve), and aluminum alloy (aluminum valve); Plastic (plastic valve); Ceramics (ceramic valves) and so on. • Structural characteristics of clamp type check valves and installation precautions for clamp type check valves
The clamp type check valve is a universal one-way fluid valve. It is lightweight, small in size, and easy to install between flanges. The valve is composed of two semi-circular springs and a plate surface inside, which are fixed on the valve body with pins. The spring deformation causes the valve plate to close, and the fluid pressure causes the opening spring to deform quickly, which can protect the pipeline from water hammer damage. The disc stroke of the clamp check valve is short, the disc is lightweight, and it has spring assisted closing, resulting in a fast closing speed. The structural length is short, the volume is small, the weight is light, the fluid resistance is small, the sealing is reliable, the opening and closing are stable, wear-resistant, the service life is long, the oil pressure and slow closing are not affected by the medium, and have good energy-saving effects. It brings great convenience to the installation, handling, storage, and pipeline layout of valves, and can save a lot of materials and reduce costs. Installation precautions for clamp type check valves 1. When placing pipelines, attention should be paid to ensuring that the direction of passage of the clamp type check valve is consistent with the flow direction of the fluid; 2. Installed in vertically placed pipelines, for horizontally placed pipelines, vertically place clamp type check valves; 3. Use an expansion pipe between the clamp type check valve and butterfly valve, and never directly connect it to other valves; 4. Within the operating radius of the valve plate, avoid adding pipe joints and blockages; 5. Do not install a variable diameter pipe in front or behind the clamp type check valve; 6. When installing a clamp type check valve near the elbow, it is important to leave sufficient space; 7. When installing a clamp type check valve at the outlet of the water pump, at least six times the diameter of the valve should flow out to ensure that the butterfly plate is finally subjected to fluid action. The H71H and H71W clamp lift check valves use a new type of material, which is corrosion-resistant stainless steel or carbon steel. It can be installed on any position of the pipeline to prevent medium backflow. The boiler feedwater system is connected by clamping the flanges at both ends of the original pipeline, which can be put into operation. Its various indicators are superior to any currently available upstream valve. It is widely used in water supply and drainage, fire protection, construction, HVAC, and industrial systems. All media such as water, gas, oil, acid, alkali, hydrogen, ammonia, and special fire pipelines can be used. For example, it can be installed at the outlet of the water pump to avoid water hammer, water hammer sound, and destructive impact, achieving the purpose of preventing backflow and protecting equipment, with good energy-saving effect. • The difference between plunger valve and globe valve
he closure of the plunger valve is composed of a stainless steel plunger, two elastic sealing rings on top and bottom, and a metal partition frame. The sealing effect is achieved by the close fit between the plunger and the sealing ring. The plunger is inserted into the two sealing rings, and the sealing area is much larger than that of a regular globe valve; When opening and closing the plunger valve, the plunger moves slowly in the sealing ring, and the contact surface is almost not worn. When closed, the plunger is inserted into the lower sealing ring, cutting off the flow passage; When opened, although the plunger detaches from the lower sealing ring, it still hides inside the upper sealing ring, maintaining isolation from the outside and preventing leakage. Due to the surface of the plunger being processed by a high-precision cylindrical grinder. The sealing ring adopts a non-toxic new sealing material with strong elasticity and high wear resistance, so the sealing is reliable and durable. This improves the service life of the plunger valve. 1. Plunger valve is composed of valve body, valve cover, valve stem, plunger, hole frame, sealing ring, handwheel and other parts. When the handwheel rotates, the valve stem drives the plunger to move up and down in the middle of the hole frame to complete the opening and closing functions of the valve. The opening and closing component of a globe valve is a plug shaped valve disc, with a flat or conical sealing surface. The valve disc moves in a straight line along the centerline of the fluid. 2. The closure of the plunger valve is composed of a stainless steel plunger, two elastic sealing rings on top and bottom, and a metal partition frame. 3. Globe valves belong to forced sealing valves, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium enters the valve from below the valve disc, the resistance that needs to be overcome by the operating force is the frictional force between the valve stem and packing and the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force to close the valve is greater than the force to open it, so the diameter of the valve stem should be larger, otherwise it will cause the valve stem to bend. 4. Globe valves have the following advantages: simple structure, convenient manufacturing and maintenance, small working stroke, and short opening and closing time. Good sealing performance, low friction between sealing surfaces, and long service life. The disadvantages of a shut-off valve are as follows: high fluid resistance and high force required for opening and closing. Not suitable for media with particles, high viscosity, and easy coking. Poor regulation performance. The advantages of a plunger valve have been mentioned above, but its biggest disadvantage is its slow opening and closing speed. • The difference between electric gate valves and electric globe valves
Simply put, an electric valve is a valve controlled by an electric actuator to achieve the opening and closing of the valve. It can be divided into two parts: the upper part is an electric actuator, and the lower part is a valve. The action force distance is larger than that of electric valves, and the opening and closing speed of electric gate valves can be adjusted. The structure is simple and easy to maintain. During the action process, due to the buffering characteristics of the gas itself, it is not easy to be damaged due to jamming. However, there must be an air source, and its control system is also more complex than that of electric valves. Electric globe valve and flange gate valve belong to the same type of valve, consisting of electric actuator or pneumatic actuator and globe valve. The difference is that its closing part is a valve body, and the valve body rotates around the centerline of the valve body to achieve opening and closing. Gate valves are mainly used in pipelines to cut off, distribute, and change the flow direction of the medium. Two piece ball valve and three piece ball valve are a new type of valve widely used in recent years. 1. Different sealing surfaces When the gate valve is opened and closed, the valve core and seat sealing surface always come into contact and rub against each other, so the sealing surface is prone to wear, especially when the valve is close to the closed state, the pressure difference between the valve core and the front and back is large, and the sealing surface wear is even more severe; Once the valve disc of the globe valve is in an open state, there is no longer contact between its seat and the sealing surface of the valve disc, so its sealing surface has less mechanical wear. However, if the medium contains solid particles, it is easy to damage the sealing surface. The sealing surface of the gate valve has a certain degree of self sealing ability, and its valve core tightly contacts the sealing surface of the valve seat with the pressure of the medium, achieving tightness without leakage. The slope of the valve core of a wedge gate valve is generally 3-6 degrees. When the valve core is forced to close excessively or has significant temperature changes, it is easy to get stuck. Therefore, measures have been taken to prevent the valve core from getting stuck in the structure of high-temperature and high-pressure wedge gate valves. The sealing surface of the globe valve must be forcefully closed to achieve sealing. Under the same caliber, working pressure, and driving device, the driving torque of the globe valve is 2.5-3.5 times that of the gate valve. This should be noted when adjusting the torque control mechanism of electric valves. The sealing surfaces of the shut-off valve only come into contact with each other when fully closed. The relative slip between the forcibly closed valve core and the sealing surface is very small, so the wear of the sealing surface is also very small. The wear of the sealing surface of the shut-off valve is mostly due to debris in front of the valve core and sealing surface, or due to the non tightness of the closed state, which causes high-speed flushing of the medium. 2. Different structures Gate valves have a more complex structure and larger height dimensions than globe valves. From the appearance, gate valves are shorter and higher than globe valves, especially rising stem gate valves that require higher height space. This should be noted when selecting in situations where installation space is limited. 3. Different flow resistance When the gate valve is fully open, the entire flow path is straight, and the pressure loss of the medium during operation is minimal. Compared with the globe valve, its main advantage is that the fluid flow resistance is small. The flow resistance coefficient of a regular gate valve is about 0.08~0.12, while the resistance coefficient of a regular globe valve is about 3.5~4.5. The opening and closing force is small. Gate valves are usually suitable for working conditions that do not require frequent opening and closing, and maintain the gate fully open or fully closed, and are not suitable for regulating or throttling use. And the flow resistance of the globe valve is large throughout the entire stroke, with a large imbalance force, and the required driving force or torque is correspondingly much greater. But it is very suitable for regulating and throttling fluids. For high-speed flowing media, when the gate is partially opened, it can cause valve vibration, which may damage the sealing surfaces of the gate and valve seat. Throttling can cause the gate to be eroded by the medium. 4. Different itineraries The stroke of a gate valve is larger than that of a globe valve. 5. Different flow directions When installing a shut-off valve, the medium can enter from below the valve core or from above. The advantage of medium entering from below the valve core is that the packing is not under pressure when the valve is closed, which can extend the service life of the packing and allow for the replacement of the packing when the pipeline in front of the valve is under pressure. The disadvantage of medium entering from below the valve core is that the driving torque of the valve is relatively high, about 1.05-1.08 times that of entering from above,

  • Installation method and maintenance of lift check valves
Lift check valve refers to a valve that automatically opens and closes the valve disc based on the flow of the medium itself, used to prevent medium backflow. It is also known as a check valve, one-way valve, backflow valve, and backpressure valve. Check valve is an automatic valve that mainly functions to prevent medium backflow, prevent pump and drive motor reversal, and prevent the discharge of container medium. Check valves can also be used on pipelines that provide supply to auxiliary systems whose pressure may rise above the system pressure. Check valves can be mainly divided into swing check valves (rotating according to the center of gravity) and lift check valves (moving along the axis).

  • What are the standard forms of American standard globe valves
American standard globe valves mainly include API and ASME standards. ASTM and ASTM are material standards, not standards for the valve itself; Globe valves designed, manufactured, produced, and tested according to American standards are called American standard globe valves. American standard globe valve is a relatively new type of gate valve, which has some unique advantages of its own structure, such as frictionless switch, less prone to sealing wear, and small opening and closing torque. This can reduce the specifications of the equipped actuator. American standard globe valves are mainly used as opening and closing devices on gas and liquid medium pipelines to connect or cut off medium flow, and are not suitable for regulating medium flow rate; With the advantages of low flow resistance and easy opening and closing, American standard globe valves are suitable for industries such as chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, papermaking, and pharmaceuticals.

  • How to make the performance of stainless steel flange ball valves stable
Stainless steel flange ball valve is a widely used universal stainless steel valve in valves, with a large usage and fast consumption. Therefore, reasonable maintenance can improve work efficiency, reduce maintenance time, and save replacement costs. To ensure stable performance and long service life of stainless steel ball valves, attention should be paid to the following factors: 1. If cleaning stainless steel valves, the solvent used must not conflict with the parts to be cleaned and not corrode. If it is a gas specific ball valve, gasoline can be used for cleaning. Other components can generally be cleaned with medium water. When cleaning, it is necessary to thoroughly clean any residual dust, oil stains, and other attachments. If it is not possible to clean with clean water, targeted cleaning agents such as alcohol can be used without damaging the valve body and components. After cleaning, wait for the cleaning agent to completely evaporate before assembling. 2. Generally, soft sealed stainless steel ball valves use PTFE as the sealing material, and the sealing surface of hard sealed ball valves is made of metal overlay welding. If it is necessary to clean the pipeline ball valve, caution should be taken during disassembly to prevent damage to the sealing ring and leakage. Before use, clean the pipeline and valve body with water to prevent residual iron filings and other debris from entering the valve body cavity. 4. Long term outdoor storage can cause rusting of the valve body and components, making it unable to function properly. When storing ball valves, they should be rainproof, waterproof, and moisture-proof, and the flange cover should be tightly closed. Stainless steel valves stored for more than 12 months should be retested during use to ensure stable performance. When disassembling and assembling stainless steel ball valves, the bolts and nuts on the flange should be fixed first, then all nuts should be slightly tightened, and finally firmly fixed. If individual nuts are forcibly fixed first, and then other nuts are fixed, uneven loading between flange surfaces may cause damage or rupture of the gasket surface, leading to leakage of the valve flange joint medium. 6. If slight leakage is found at the packing during use, the valve stem nut can be slightly tightened until the leakage stops. Do not continue to tighten. 7. When the stainless steel ball valve is in the closed state, there is still some residual medium in the valve body and it is also under certain pressure. Before inspecting the ball valve, close the shut-off valve in front of the ball valve, open the ball valve that needs to be inspected, and completely release the internal pressure of the valve body. If it is an electric or pneumatic ball valve, the power and air sources should be disconnected first. Diye valve &fitting co.,ltd. office@allvalve.cn

  • Safety precautions to be taken when installing several common valves
We know that regardless of the type of valve, it should be operated strictly according to relevant specifications during the installation process. Below, the editor will take four common valves, namely check valves, safety valves, pressure reducing valves, and drain valves, as examples to introduce the safety precautions that need to be taken when installing valves. 1. Check valve: In order to prevent the medium from flowing back after the check valve leaks or fails, which may cause a decrease in product quality, one or two shut-off valves need to be installed before and after the check valve. If two shut-off valves are installed, they can be easily disassembled for maintenance. 2. Safety valve: When installing a safety valve, there is no need to set up isolation valves before and after installation. It can only be used in individual situations. If the medium force contains solid particles, which affects the safety valve's ability to close tightly after jumping, a gate valve with a lead seal should be installed before and after the safety valve. The gate valve should be in a fully open state, and a DN20 inspection valve to the atmosphere should be installed directly on the gate valve and safety valve. When the soothing and releasing wax and other media are in a solid state at room temperature, or when the temperature of light liquid and other media is lower than 0 degrees Celsius due to pressure reduction and gasification, the safety valve needs steam heating. For safety valves used in corrosive media, depending on the corrosion resistance performance of the valve, consider adding a corrosion-resistant explosion-proof film at the valve inlet. A gas safety valve is generally equipped with a bypass valve according to its diameter, which is used for manual venting. 3. Steam trap: There are two types of pipes on the side of the steam trap, one with a bypass pipe and the other without a bypass pipe. There are condensate recovery and condensate non recovery payment options. For steam traps with a drainage capacity of up to or other special requirements, they can be installed in parallel. The main function of a drain valve with a bypass valve is to discharge a large amount of condensate when the pipeline starts running. It is inappropriate to use a bypass pipe to discharge condensate when repairing the drain valve, as this can cause steam to flow into the return water system. 4. Pressure reducing valve: There are generally three forms of installation facilities for pressure reducing valves. Pressure gauges are installed before and after the pressure reducing valve to facilitate the observation of the pressure in front and behind the valve. And there is also a fully enclosed safety valve installed behind the valve to prevent accidents caused by the failure of the pressure reducing valve. When the pressure behind the valve exceeds the normal pressure, it will jump, including the system behind the valve. The drainage pipe is installed in front of the shut-off valve in front of the valve, mainly used for drainage and river flushing, and some use drain valves. The main function of the bypass pipe is to close the shut-off valves before and after the pressure reducing valve when it malfunctions, open the bypass valve, manually adjust the flow rate, and play a temporary circulation role for maintenance or replacement of the pressure reducing valve. The above are the safety precautions that need to be paid attention to during the installation process of four common valves: check valves, safety valves, pressure reducing valves, and drain valves. • How to distinguish between one piece, two piece, and three piece stainless steel ball valves?
How to distinguish between one piece, two piece, and three piece stainless steel ball valves? One piece ball valve, two piece ball valve, and three piece ball valve are three different ball valve structures. Distinguishing these three types of imported ball valves can be approached from three aspects: structure, pressure, and cost. The opening and closing part of the inlet ball valve is a sphere that rotates 90 degrees around the axis of the valve stem to achieve the purpose of opening and closing. Mainly used for cutting, distributing, and changing the flow direction of media in pipelines. 1. Structural differences The integrated ball valve is an integrated type, and its structure consists of a ball, a PTFE ring, and a locking nut. The diameter of the ball is slightly smaller than the diameter of the pipeline, similar to a wide ball valve. The two-piece ball valve consists of two parts, and its sealing effect is better than that of the integrated ball valve. The diameter of the ball is the same as that of the pipeline, making it easier to disassemble than an integrated ball valve. A three piece ball valve consists of three parts, with a valve cover on both sides and a valve body in the middle. The structure of a three piece ball valve is different from that of a two piece ball valve and a one piece ball valve, making it easy to disassemble and maintain. from Complex program: Three piece ball valve>: Two piece ball valve>: Single piece ball valve 2. Pressure difference The pressure resistance of the three piece ball valve is much higher than that of the one piece and two piece ball valves. The outer side of the three piece ball valve is fixed with four bolts, which provides a good fastening effect. The pressure of precision cast valve body can reach 1000psi ≈ 6.9MPa, and higher pressure requires forging the valve body. In terms of pressure resistance: three-piece ball valve>: two-piece ball valve>: integrated ball valve. 3. Cost variance Integrated ball valves have the same purpose as wide ball valves because they have fewer main materials and lower costs compared to the other two. Two piece ball valves are more expensive than one piece ball valves, while three piece ball valves can withstand higher pressures. The valve body is composed of three parts, with a higher material than the other two parts, so it has the highest cost and the most expensive price.

  • Analysis of Leakage Causes of Pneumatic Clamping Butterfly Valve
The sealing ring leakage of pneumatic clamp butterfly valves generally includes: valve stem sealing, middle channel sealing, and sealing rings leakage on both sides. Let's first talk about the reasons for the leakage of the sealing ring on the valve stem of the pneumatic ball valve. The operation of the valve stem of the pneumatic clamp butterfly valve is divided into up and down operation and left and right operation. The leakage here is related to frequent loosening of the switch or prolonged use. So what should be done if there is a leakage here? The sealing ring can be tightened with a tool wrench to prevent leakage. If there is a significant amount of leakage, the sealing ring must be replaced. Leakage at the middle sealing ring: Generally, if the medium temperature is too high, the sealing ring will deform and cause leakage, or if it has been used for a long time, we can achieve no leakage by tightening the screws of the middle sealing ring. If the temperature is too high and causes deformation, the sealing ring must be replaced to achieve no leakage. The sealing rings on the last two sides of the pneumatic clamp butterfly valve are leaking. Generally, there are several situations where the sealing rings on both sides are leaking: 1. Frequent switching causes leakage of the ball core friction sealing ring; 2. The hardness of the medium impacts the sealing ring, causing leakage; 3. Excessive temperature affects the service life and leads to leakage. The above floor drains are achieved by replacing the sealing ring to prevent leakage. Pneumatic clamp butterfly valves are divided into soft sealing and hard sealing. Soft sealed pneumatic clamp butterfly valves generally have a maximum temperature resistance of 150 degrees, while hard sealed pneumatic butterfly valves generally have a maximum temperature resistance of 425 degrees. The most commonly used type is the soft sealed pneumatic butterfly valve, which is a commonly produced soft sealed pneumatic butterfly valve. It can replace the sealing ring, valve plate, and valve stem. This can not only help customers save costs, but also realize the value of the enterprise. The produced soft sealing pneumatic butterfly valve sealing rings include: nitrile rubber soft sealing pneumatic butterfly valve, EPDM rubber soft sealing pneumatic clamp butterfly valve, wear-resistant rubber soft sealing pneumatic butterfly valve, PTFE rubber soft sealing pneumatic clamp butterfly valve, and so on. • Differences in ferrites of various stainless steels
430 ferritic stainless steel Steel with a chromium content of over 12% can prevent oxidation caused by natural factors, and is called stainless steel. It belongs to 430 ferritic stainless steel, with low thermal expansion rate, excellent formability and oxidation resistance. The code in JIS is 430, hence also known as 430 stainless steel. Application of 430 Ferritic Stainless Steel 430 stainless steel (16Cr) is commonly used in the production of household appliances, heat-resistant appliances, burners, household appliances, Category 2 tableware, kitchen sinks, external decorative materials, bolts, nuts, CD rods, and screens. The difference between 430 stainless steel and 304, 316 austenitic stainless steel 430 stainless steel and 304, 316 austenitic stainless steel are identified through spectroscopic analysis and chemical element analysis. 304 and 316 are both austenitic stainless steels, and 316 is made by adding molybdenum to it. Therefore, the anti seawater and anti rust ability of 316 stainless steel is much better than that of 304. The difference between 304, 316, and 430 lies in their rust prevention performance. 304 and 316 contain elements such as nickel and molybdenum in addition to chromium, and are non-magnetic. Therefore, the rust prevention performance of 304/316 austenitic stainless steel is much better than that of 430 stainless steel, and the price is also much higher. Can 430 stainless steel magnets hold on? 304 and 316 do not conduct magnetism and cannot be attracted with a magnet. Generally, it does not generate heat in high-voltage electromagnetic environments, so it is commonly used. Martensitic and 430 ferritic stainless steels, as well as precipitation hardened stainless steels, are magnetic and can be attracted by magnets. Will 430 stainless steel rust? 430 stainless steel cannot resist oxidation caused by chemicals in the air. As acidic chemicals in the air become more and more abundant, 430 stainless steel may still experience oxidation (rusting) due to non natural factors after a period of infrequent use. Which is better, 430 stainless steel or 304? 304 austenitic stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and no magnetism. Relatively speaking, austenitic stainless steel 304 is better than 430 ferritic stainless steel. How much more expensive is 430 stainless steel compared to 304? Generally speaking, austenitic stainless steel 304 is twice as expensive as 430 stainless steel. Diye valve &fitting co.,ltd. office@allvalve.cn www.diye-valve.com

  • Holding points of stainless steel globe valves
    1. Stainless steel globe valves have a simpler structure than gate valves and are more convenient to manufacture and maintain. 2. The sealing surface is not easy to wear and scratch, with good sealing performance. There is no relative sliding between the valve disc and the valve body sealing surface during opening and closing, so the wear and scratch are not severe. The sealing performance is good, and the service life is long. 3. When opening and closing, the valve disc stroke is small, so the height of the globe valve is smaller than that of the gate valve, but the structural length is longer than that of the gate valve. 4. The opening and closing torque is large, the opening and closing are difficult, and the opening and closing time is long. 5. The fluid resistance is high due to the tortuous medium channels in the valve body, resulting in high fluid resistance and high power consumption. 6. Medium flow direction: When the nominal pressure PN ≤ 16MPa, downstream flow is generally used, and the medium flows upward from the direction below the valve disc; When the nominal pressure PN is ≥ 20MPa, reverse flow is generally used, and the medium flows downward from the valve disc to increase the sealing energy. When in use, the medium of the shut-off valve can only flow in one direction and cannot be changed. Diye valve &fitting co.,ltd. office@allvalve.cn www.diye-valve.com

  • Structural characteristics of stainless steel globe valves
    1. Advanced structure, reliable sealing, excellent performance, and beautiful appearance. Improved the rigidity of the valve stem, significantly reduced noise and vibration, and improved the service life and performance of the valve. 2. A shut-off valve can be installed at any position in the pipeline, allowing the medium to flow from bottom to top. 3. DN250 and above adopt advanced multiple seals, double supports, guided movement (which can greatly improve resistance to water hammer impact), and medium enters from above, which effectively solves the problem of large diameter globe valves with high opening and closing torque, inability to close tightly, and leakage of packing chamber, effectively improving the performance and range of use of the valve. The torque for "closing" is 10% of that of a regular valve, and the torque for "opening" is 3% of that of a regular valve. 4. Stainless steel globe valves are suitable for pipelines with various corrosive media, with good corrosion resistance and sufficient strength. 5. Alloy steel globe valves are suitable for high temperature resistant steam and oil pipelines and have high temperature resistance characteristics. • Structural characteristics of stainless steel globe valves
Stainless steel globe valves belong to forced sealing valves, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface to not leak. In recent years, with the emergence of self sealing valves, the medium flow direction of globe valves has changed from above the valve disc to enter the valve chamber. At this time, under the pressure of the medium, the force to close the valve is small, while the force to open the valve is large, and the diameter of the valve stem can be correspondingly reduced. At the same time, under the action of the medium, this form of valve is also relatively tight. The "Three Modernizations" of valves in our country once stipulated that the flow direction of globe valves should be from top to bottom. When the globe valve is to be horizontally installed and the opening height of the valve disc is 25%~30% of the nominal diameter, the flow rate has reached *, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. So the fully open position of the shut-off valve should be determined by the stroke of the valve disc. Diye valve &fitting co.,ltd. office@allvalve.cn www.diye-valve.com

  • What are the precautions for purchasing stainless steel ball valves?
To ball valve, this is a type of valve that is used in many industries. Different valves have different characteristics, and each has its own advantages when used. Among them, stainless steel ball valves are more commonly used. What are the precautions for purchasing stainless steel ball valves from Diye stainless steel ball valve manufacturers? 1. Due to the numerous types of stainless steel ball valves, when purchasing them, we must refer to the environment in which they are used to choose the appropriate product. For example, stainless steel ball valves on natural gas transmission pipelines need to be equipped with full bore and welded types. If stainless steel ball valves are only used to adjust the flow rate of the medium inside the pipeline, pneumatic V-shaped opening adjustment of stainless steel ball valves is a good choice. If the medium inside the pipeline is low-temperature, It can be equipped with low-temperature stainless steel ball valves, etc. 2. Before purchasing, it is necessary to have a general understanding of the size of the stainless steel ball valve interface, which can prevent the inability to install after purchasing. In addition, when purchasing, it is necessary to refer to the specific conditions of the pipeline, such as the discharge, flow resistance, and other parameters of the stainless steel ball valve. 3. There are many materials used for stainless steel ball valves. When choosing, we must refer to the medium of the pipeline to choose the appropriate material. For example, if the medium is water, plastic or cast iron stainless steel ball valves can be used. If the medium temperature is high, stainless steel ball valves need to be equipped.
